繼去年胡金龍在明日之星發光發熱獲MVP後，今年的未來之星(明日之星)，林哲瑄（也是游擊手）七局轟出兩分砲，讓世界隊得以將比數拉大為3-0，贏得今天的MVP最有價值球員。

賽後記者訪問到當他打出全壘打時，被場中洋基的球迷噓（因為他是紅襪的），心裡有什麼感覺，他靦腆的說因為他第一次參加這樣的比賽，實在滿緊張的，沒有想那麼多：）

胡金龍在成為台灣棒球史上第一位站上大聯盟的內野手後，接下來的問題是他想成為怎樣的球員？胡金龍信心滿滿的表示，希望成為亞洲第一的內野手。

胡金龍的守備功力了得，是最近幾年道奇農場眾所皆知的強手，不過要在大聯盟立足，已不能像以往傳統游擊手或二壘手只注重防守功力。

對此，胡金龍回憶起9月登上大聯盟的短暫日子，當他看到前輩Rafael Furcal的身手，表示：「Furcal的速度實在太快了！無論是移位、傳球都相當快速，我不可能像他一樣來個單季50、60盜(註：Furcal單季最多為2005年的46盜)。」

但胡金龍認為，他能贏過Furcal的優點應該就是防守穩定性與上壘率，說到穩定性，胡金龍以前的偶像是目前效力巨人的Omar Vizquel，此人可說是當今美國職棒游擊防區的第一把交椅，生涯11度獲得金手套獎且在美聯9連霸、2005與2006年也連莊國聯金手套，這是胡金龍所要追尋的目標。

但說到上壘率，其實胡金龍在2007年之前表現其實並不起眼，今年憑藉卓越的打擊能力才將上壘率提升到3成8，總計小聯盟生涯為3成46、K/BB比1.75。因此，胡金龍承認除打擊率有信心外，選球是未來加強的重點。

最後當被問到他現在的偶像是誰？胡金龍思考一下說沒有，顯然他已準備要將自己改造成自己崇拜的偶像。

亞洲選手近年來站上美國職棒大聯盟不是稀奇的事情，但胡金龍的夢想很特別，他要當亞洲內野手的「第一人」。

胡金龍今天出席NIKE替他舉辦的返國記者會，在記者會上談起打拚大聯盟的心情，他表示，自己有看各個亞洲好手在美國職棒季後賽的表現，「每個人都有自己的理想，我的目標亞洲內野手第一！」

今年9月被道奇決定升上大聯盟名單，胡金龍說，當時真的很開心，但也有點不可置信。

由於亞洲選手挑戰大聯盟總以投手居多，再不然就是外野手，內野的競爭力相當高，雖然已經有別的亞洲球員進入大聯盟，但他希望未來外人講起旅美的內野手，會最先想起他的名字，「這是我給自己設定的目標。」

而眼前他的目標是披上中華隊戰袍，他要參加年底的亞錦賽、爭取奧運資格。

「奧運是每個運動員的夢想。」胡金龍說，亞錦賽相當重要，也很特別，「而且2012年的奧運棒球可能又要被取消了，這是最後的機會，也是我的夢想。」

對於外界擔心他的舊傷，胡金龍表示這倒不成問題，在參加秋季春訓的時候，也是因為球團希望他可以利用時間休息，因此讓他不要太操勞，他說：「已經完全好了。」

NIKE為了鼓勵胡金龍多年打小聯盟打拚、而今站上聯盟的毅力，特地送他一支球棒，上面噴漆著「金色的龍」，當然就是意味著他的名字「金龍」。

NIKE行銷協理許毓玲說，這支球棒希望可以陪著胡金龍，祝福他飛黃騰達。

胡金龍未來前途被外界看好，他自己笑笑著說：「這好像還是我回國以來，第一次看到這麼多媒體。」

胡金龍最愛還是守游擊

擔任游擊手的胡金龍，對未來擁有很大的夢想，也替自己設立目標，如果遇到不如意的事情，該怎麼面對？

眼前他的問題是，在道奇若是游擊守備位置已經有前輩佔據，胡金龍如何找到自己的生存之道？胡金龍說：「有隊上的前輩曾經跟我說，在大聯盟，你就是要想辦法生存。」

雖然游擊守備是胡金龍最擅長，也最喜歡的位置，不過先前球隊曾經希望他改守二壘，對此胡金龍坦言，自己有點不習慣。

只是他說，前輩說過很有道理的話，要找到方法、不管用什麼方式，你想要辦法繼續留著，「就算是叫你去守外野也不為過。」

胡金龍跟大家分享換守備位置的經驗，他說，當時自己站在二壘時真的有點綁手綁腳，「因為球一擊出來，面對的方向和守備方式都不同，需要時間調適。」

他笑說，要是讓他選，他當然還是最愛游擊手之名，當然這也是不考慮道奇球團內有什麼人選為前提。

旅外多年的胡金龍，深知在外打拚的辛苦，很多事情挑不得，也沒有辦法逃避。胡金龍說，這5年來他學會最大的事情就叫做「獨立自主」，要對自己要求很高，否則難以生存，這也是小聯盟和大聯盟最大的不同。

面對前洋基教頭托瑞轉隊至道奇，胡金龍還尚未和托瑞相處過，他表示，以前的利托比較不會涉入球員個人生活，之前發生的「老少衝突」教練也並沒有多管，但私下會給他建議。

而托瑞，胡金龍小時候就曾經過這名字，現在的感想是：「他帶洋基創造豐功偉業，是個偉大的教練吧。」

曾經在今年9月剛被叫上大聯盟的胡金龍，在9月11日就驚人的以代打之姿揮出全壘打，胡金龍笑說：「我那時候還跑到二壘，才發現是全壘打。」今天在記者會中，胡金龍還特地秀出這顆對他有特別意義的「首轟」紀念球。

胡金龍說，之前在小聯盟的時候就有隊友透露告訴他「你有可能要被升上去了」，可是自己不敢抱持太大希望，「我怕到時候如果沒有，失落感會太大。」

胡金龍說，等到真正升上去的那一刻，心裡又緊張又興奮，「而且真的很難相信這是真的。」他說，當時沒有太多想法，只希望自己好好把握機會。

但是剛開始教練團只授意他守備，胡金龍也以為當天比賽應該是不會有打擊機會了，因此還把打擊頭盔放在一旁，「沒想到比賽到最後，教練突然走過來說：『你打第2棒！』，我就這樣上去了。」

由於剛從小聯盟來到陌生的環境，胡金龍也說，當時還是在道奇主場，自己希望可以好好表現，可惜太緊張，腦筋根本一片空白。

「第1球投手好像投出94、95哩吧，我根本跟不到球。」他說，緊張感大概持續到第3球，他猜到對方會投滑球，所以就揮棒，「那時只覺得打擊的感覺很好，也很努力跑壘，到二壘才發現是全壘打。」

對他來說很特別的是，當天就這麼恰巧是爸媽第一次到洛杉磯主場看兒子比賽，結果他就以全壘打回報，他自己也很開心，「因為當天有那麼多人來幫我加油。」

效力於美國職棒道奇隊的我國好手胡金龍，昨天回到國內後今天首度面對媒體。針對國人關心洋基前總教練托瑞加盟道奇的感想，胡金龍表示托瑞是他學生時代就很仰慕的總教練，有機會一定也會向他請教。至於假如有一天在球場上王建民對決，會不會想轟出全壘打？胡金龍想了想，小聲說：「打安打就好了吧！」

今年球季首度站上大聯盟舞台的胡金龍，回到國內之後星期五首度面對媒體談這一年的美國職棒經驗。2003年加盟道奇隊之後就難得單獨面對這麼多攝影機的胡金龍，顯得有點緊張，一開始表情有些靦腆僵硬，慢慢的才打開話匣子。

面對媒體關心前洋基總教練托瑞加盟道奇的影響，胡金龍表示托瑞在洋基期間留下顯赫的成績，對於帶領選手一定有他的一套辦法，有機會也一定會向他請教。

至於假如有一天在大聯盟與「學長」王建民對決，會不會希望從他手中轟出全壘打？胡金龍抓抓頭想了想，小聲回答：「還是打安打就好了吧！」。

然而究竟有沒有信心站穩在大聯盟的腳步？胡金龍強調大聯盟的競爭激烈，下個球季還是要在春訓時好好表現，才能給教練團一個好印象。

旅美球員胡金龍在回到台灣後，今天(9日)出現在Nike所舉辦的記者會上。胡金龍全場侃侃而談，也肯定會參加12月的亞錦賽，幫助中華隊爭奪奧運棒球項目的資格。

2007 年無疑是胡金龍職業生涯至今最成功的一年，不僅獲邀參加道奇春訓，且在小聯盟打出令人驚艷的成績，更入選明日之星(Future Game)明星賽而奪下MVP頭銜；9月的擴編名單還被調上大聯盟，成為台灣棒球史上首位在大聯盟上場的內野手；之後又參加秋季聯盟的比賽，此為各球團農場頂級新秀所參加的季後聯賽，顯示胡金龍在道奇農場的地位。

雖然胡金龍因為大腿拉傷提前離開秋聯而回到台灣，但他表示傷勢已完全痊癒，12月的亞錦賽完全沒有問題，他很想為中華隊盡一份心力，以搶進奧運為最終目標。

胡金龍回憶起今年上大聯盟並敲出全壘打的過程仍是意猶未盡，他表示在被call up之前並不抱太大希望，因為他不想最終落個失望的結局；而在揮出全壘打之前，其實是意外的獲得教練團的授意，結果在心理放空的情況下竟然轟出重砲，感覺相當好。

最後胡金龍對於Joe Torre成為道奇新任總教練也相當期待，他認為Torre是個偉大的教練，但也因為不熟悉，會找時間問前輩王建民以變了解Torre的為人與執教風格。

記者會上除了表達為國效力的願望，Nike也致贈一個符合胡金龍名字的紀念品─金龍環繞的球棒，希望胡金龍能像球棒上的金龍，站穩大聯盟並飛黃騰達。

"I think I am close to reaching the Major Leagues," the confident Chen said. 陳鏞基很有自信的說他很接近大聯盟了!

的確如果不是受傷(然後去年回台灣參加洲際杯等比賽加重傷勢...真傷腦筋)陳鏞基可能更快可以發光發亮。手術後球對本以為可以解決酸痛問題，但事與願違，他去年在3A球季只有15個打數。所以為了補償這個球季，鏞基參加了秋季聯盟，成績相當亮眼， 10場下來，打擊率.389 (14-for-36) 1支全壘打8個 RBIs.。

加盟水手隊的台灣內野手陳鏞基，在左肩受傷之後，再也不敢用頭部向前的方式撲壘了。

水手官網昨天報導陳鏞基肩傷後復出，在亞歷桑納秋季聯盟有出色的表現。昨天他出任第7棒的先發二壘手，3打數有1支二壘安打，有1次保送，累積12場的打擊率4成19，在隊上名列第3。

陳鏞基指出，去年在2A用前撲式盜壘，都是用手部先碰觸壘包，結果有1次盜壘失敗，左肩膀劇烈撞擊壘包，造成受傷，迫使他在今年4月必須進行棒球生涯第1次的手術。

他說：「防護員告訴我，不要再用頭部往前的盜壘方式，我已得到教訓。」雖已復出比賽，但他說，「肩膀有時會不舒服，有痠的感覺，防護員說OK，我每天還是會冰敷。」

儘管身體狀況未完全恢復，他在秋季聯盟的表現仍令人矚目，被期待可以挑戰大聯盟，他也展現信心地說：「我想自己已經很接近大聯盟了。」

台北時間4月20日肩膀動手術之前，陳鏞基僅在3A出賽5場，水手農場主管杭特說：「我們以為他可以克服肩膀痠痛的問題，結果不行，導致大多數球季都缺席。」手術之後，他花5個月時間做復健，加強肩部肌力。

杭特說，為讓陳鏞基彌補失去的球季，決定讓他參加秋季聯盟的比賽。

Notes: After injury, Chen thriving in AFL

Second baseman hopes to be in the mix in the bigs soon

PEORIA -- Second baseman Yung Chi Chen never slides headfirst into a base anymore.

He stopped doing that more than a year ago when an unsuccessful theft of second base, while playing for Double-A San Antonio, became more than just another out. His left hand hit the base so hard that it dislocated his left shoulder and caused damage to the labrum.

"The trainer told me never to slide headfirst again," he said. "I learned my lesson."

The first injury in Chen's baseball career had to be surgically repaired and it still causes him occasional discomfort. But his performance in the Arizona Fall League demonstrates that he's someone in the Mariners' organization worth watching closely.

"I think I am close to reaching the Major Leagues," the confident Chen said.

How close depends on what happens during the offseason. The Mariners are hoping to improve their starting pitching and might accomplish that goal via a trade. Not that incumbent Jose Lopez has been put on the trading block, but with Chen knocking on the door, dealing Lopez -- an American League All-Star in 2006 -- could become a real possibility.

"He can handle the bat, no question," said Greg Hunter, the Mariners farm director. "He has hit at every level he's played and done a nice job defensively. He does everything adequately and is going to get better the more he plays."

Chen didn't play much at all this past season -- only 15 at-bats in five games with the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers.

"We thought he would be able to play through [the sore shoulder], but he couldn't," Hunter said. "He ended up missing most of the season."

Chen, 23, was assigned to the Peoria Javelinas, of the Arizona Fall League, and he has held his own in the high class of competition. After his first 10 games, the 5-foot-11, 172-pound right-handed batter from Taiwan was hitting .389 (14-for-36) with one home run and eight RBIs.

"We figured the Fall League was a good place for him to make up for lost time," Hunter said.

"I was a little surprised they brought me here," Chen said. "There are a lot of good players here, the best players in the Minor Leagues. It's good for me because and I haven't played much this year and I have a lot of catching up to do."

The five months he spent recovering from surgery, which he had on April 19, has strengthened Chen's shoulder to the point where it doesn't hurt nearly as bad, or often, when he swings the bat.

"Sometimes it still feels sore," he said, "but the trainer told me that that's OK. I still exercise and ice it every day."

Still undecided: Several days after saying right fielder Jose Guillen probably would opt out of his $9 million mutual option with the Mariners, agent Adam Katz told the Seattle Times that he wouldn't close the door to Guillen's return next season.

"The Mariners are in play [and] everyone is receptive to discussions," Katz said. "I know he enjoyed his Seattle experience."

The feeling was mutual. The Mariners enjoyed the numbers Guillen put up -- .299 batting average, 23 home runs and 99 RBIs -- and were just as pleased with his clubhouse contributions.

But it still might come down to whether Guillen would settle for less than a three-year deal.

High on Felix: In his "Young Talent Inventory," noted baseball analyst Bill James names Felix Hernandez as the fifth-best player in the Majors under 29 years of age. The 21-year-old Mariners ace is the youngest player on the list.

James wasn't as kind to the Mariners overall, putting them 25th on the list for the best young talent in all of baseball. The ratings are included in "The Bill James Handbook 2008."

Turn back the clock: The hiring of Lee Elia as an on-field consultant adds another link to the team's halcyon days when competing for a playoff spot was a regular occurrence.

Elia, 70, said he was flattered to get back on the field in uniform. He and manager John McLaren were on former manager Lou Piniella's coaching staff from 1993-97 in Seattle and again in 2001-02 with the Devil Rays.

"He has a lot of experience," McLaren told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. "He knows how to get things done right, and that is a real plus. He's from the same school I'm from -- whatever you feel, speak up and bring it on. I value his judgment a lot. He's an old-school guy."

Promotions: The Mariners announced several promotions among their scouting staff, including Ron Tostenson taking over as national coordinator. Tom Davis will replace Tostenson as West Coast coordinator; John McMichen becomes Southeast coordinator; Chris Pelekoudas, son of assistant general manager Lee Pelekoudas, becomes Southwest supervisor, and Phil Pote takes on the title of scouting adviser.

First to file: Left-handed reliever Arthur Rhodes, who earned a spot in the Mariners' bullpen last spring as a non-roster invitee but never threw a pitch all season because of an injury, became the first Mariner to file for free agency.

Rhodes returned to the Peoria, Ariz., complex after the regular season to test his arm and said he hopes to resume his MLB career next spring -- with Seattle.

LAS VEGAS: The Dodgers announced that Chin-Lung Hu and James McDonald have been named the 2007 Dodger Minor League Player and Pitcher of the year, respectively.

Hu had a tremendous season, splitting time between Double-A Jacksonville and Triple-A Las Vegas. The native of Taiwan hit a combined .325 with 14 homers, 40 doubles, six triples, 62 RBI, 89 runs scored, 15 steals and a .505 slugging percentage in 127 contests, all while making just 16 errors at shortstop. This month, Hu became the fifth Major Leaguer and fourth Dodger to hail from Taiwan and was also named the MVP of the 2007 Futures Game.

He was promoted to Triple-A Las Vegas on July 12. He appeared in 45 games for the 51s and batted .318 (61-for-192) with 10 doubles, 8 home runs and 28 RBI. He compiled 19 multiple-hit games (10 two-hits games; 7 three-hit games; 2 four-hit games) and hit safely in 31 of 45 games. He was promoted to the Dodgers on September 1.

McDonald went 6-7 with a 3.95 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 82.0 innings in 15 starts at Single-A Inland Empire, but then took it to another level after his promotion to Double-A Jacksonville. As a Sun, the right-hander went 7-2 with a 1.71 ERA (10 ER/52.2 IP) and 64 K's in 10 starts, while limiting opposing hitters to a .218 average.

SAN FRANCISCO - Dodgers reliever Chin-hui Tsao returned to the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a recurrence of the right shoulder strain that sidelined him for six weeks earlier this season. Tsao said he felt something in his shoulder while warming up during Saturday's game, but after he did some stretching, the pain subsided. 道奇救援曹錦輝周日重回15日傷兵名單，原因是6周前讓他坐板凳的右肩舊傷復發。曹說他星期六暖身時就感覺肩膀怪怪的，但在做了一些拉筋運動後，疼痛就沒了。

"The pain in (Tsao's) shoulder is similar to what he had before," Dodgers trainer Stan Conte said. "I think it's a concern anytime you have to go on the disabled list with a problem in your shoulder. The loss is significant to an already-beleaguered bullpen. The Dodgers signed Tsao to a low-risk, split contract over the winter after he missed most of the past two seasons with Colorado because of shoulder problems. Brett Tomko started Sunday's game in place of Wolf and pitched well enough that he will do so again Friday night against the New York Mets.

But if Tomko falters and Wolf misses a third start, Little also could go with either Houlton or lefty Eric Stults.

Also: Left-hander Mark Hendrickson will still make his scheduled start Tuesday night against Philadelphia despite pitching two innings of relief Saturday. ... 10天前，郭泓志才被道奇放進傷兵名單，沒想到曹錦輝昨天也「跟進」，再因右肩不適進入傷兵名單，郭媽媽說，「真是難兄難弟，連受傷也擠一起」。

曹錦輝5月中曾因肩傷進傷兵名單，休息近6週後歸隊，但上1場比賽賽前肩膀又有異狀，還被轟出滿貫砲。

賽後小曹感到肩膀疼痛加劇，經防護員檢查，認定是前次肩傷復發。球團立即把他列入15天傷兵名單，打算回洛杉磯後再詳細檢查。

郭泓志之前也在比賽中手肘不適，單局被教士打爆，賽後就傳出受傷的消息，道奇在7月1日先讓他回到3A，6日就把小小郭列入傷兵名單。

SAN FRANCISCO -- The 2007 Futures Game turned out to be quite a growth experience for Chin-Lung Hu. 2007年未來之星大賽對胡金龍而言是個大有成長的經驗。

SAN FRANCISCO -- Get 'em on, and get 'em in.

It's an age-old formula for baseball success, and it's a formula the World Team used with great precision on Sunday in a 7-2 victory over the U.S. in the annual XM All-Star Futures Game at AT&T Park.

From the outset, the World Team, managed by Hall of Famer Juan Marichal, took advantage of its speed and some timely hitting to put up a solid offensive attack against some of the game's brightest pitching prospects.

"Basically, [Marichal] looked at the stats and the scouting reports," said World center fielder Michael Saunders (Mariners), "and gave us the green light to go."

And off they went.

In the first inning, with right-hander Jeff Niemann (Devil Rays) on the mound, Saunders reached on a fielding error by second baseman Chris Coghlan (Marlins), stole second, then scored on Chin-Lung Hu's double.

Hu (Dodgers) went on to steal third and scored on a sac fly by Joey Votto (Reds) to give the World an early 2-0 lead. 胡盜三壘並藉一犧牲打回來得分讓世界隊以2-0領先。

But the World did not rest.

In the fourth, Max Ramirez (Indians) led off with a double and later scored on Carlos Gonzalez's (D-backs) sacrifice fly.

And even when the U.S. struck with John Whittleman's (Rangers) solo homer off Deolis Guerra (Mets) in the fifth, the World responded with some power of its own in the form of Votto's solo blast off Clay Buchholz (Red Sox) in the top of the sixth.

By the time James Van Ostrand (Astros) hit a leadoff homer and Wladimir Balentien (Mariners) chipped in with an RBI double in the seventh, this one was over.

As impressed as he was with his team's offense, Marichal had to give credit to a pitching staff that got scoreless innings of work from the likes of starter Rick Vanden Hurk (Marlins), Carlos Carrasco (Phillies), Henry Sosa (Giants) and Franklin Morales (Rockies).

"I couldn't believe these kids' command," Marichal said. "One thing that really surprised me was the command they had with their changeup. They could throw it at any time."

Though the talents of those on the field were clear, U.S. team manager Dave Winfield reminded his players of the value of a strong work ethic to get the most out of their abilities.

"I told them before the game started, there are a lot of people you never know how good they're going to be, or what kind of player," Winfield said. "I said, 'If you saw Pete Rose when he was a kid, he wasn't fast, he wasn't strong and he wasn't a home run hitter. Look what he did.' Anybody can succeed at this game if they do the right things and play it right."

In this particular showing, the World succeeded for the fourth time in the event's nine-year history. But Marichal saw plenty of skill from players in both dugouts.

"I was surprised with all the talent I saw on both teams," he said. "I think baseball has a great future."

But the skinny kid isn't so skinny anymore. Righty among several prospects in action this offseason

Ching-Lung Lo's first three starts were nothing short of abysmal as he gave up 13 runs on 14 hits in 10 innings while going 0-2 for the Waikiki BeachBoys in Hawaii Winter Baseball. Suddenly, the lights came on for Lo since mid-October.
The 21-year-old Taiwanese right-hander has come on of late, rattling off three scoreless outings in his last four games while going at least five innings in each appearance. 21歲的台灣右投已經拿下先發四場三場無失分的表現，每場都投五局以上。

Lo held the North Shore Honu to one hit and one walk in five frames while striking out nine during a 2-0 win. The nine strikeouts were one shy of his Minor League season high, set with Class A Modesto on July 2 against San Jose.羅讓北灣打出僅ㄧ支安打，五局只保送ㄧ人，並三振了九人，取得2-0的勝利。九次三振僅比他在小聯盟的生涯紀錄少ㄧ次 (Class A Modesto 7/2 對戰 San Jose)

Lo earned Pitcher of the Week honors for the first time this season. On November 3, he led the BeachBoys pitching staff to a shutout of the Honolulu Sharks. Lo earned the win after going five innings, allowing only four hits, no runs, and one walk, while striking out four.
